Metcalf Thompson and Phipps was formed in 1948 by William C. Creasey and Glenn C. Metcalf, Jr. with offices in Moville and Kingsley Iowa. Today the firm's members are Barry Thomson, Patrick Phipps, and Glenn A. Metcalf. Jeffery Kuchel and Chad Thompson are attorney associates employed with the firm. The firm's offices are located in the communities of Remsen and Kingsley in Plymouth County and Moville in Woodbury County, Iowa. The firm has attorneys licensed in Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska.

All attorneys in the firm practice in the fields of taxation, real estate, probate, trust and estate planning. Individual practice areas include personal injury, municipal law, corporate law, business organizations, family law, and bankruptcy. By combining the talents of all the firm's members Metcalf Thompson & Phipps is able to meet most needs of its clients.
